5-10-2011 Storm chase

My buddy Alex messaged me on the computer earlier in the day and said he was coming up this way to chase, I thought about it for a fraction of a second and told him to swing by and pick me up. I am glad he did. We ended up seeing a weak short lived EF1 tornado, some large hail, and a few wall clouds. We didn't run out of gas, or run into a guard rail LOL!  I would say, All in All, it was a pretty successful chase, Considering we were on the only tornado that happened in the state that day.

Missing In Action

I have not made a blog post in quite awhile. This time of the year is rather slow, seasonal transition, which means, weather sucks, and getting ready for car show season, hopefully I will be picking up on my posts soon as the weather gets better. until then, here is a awesome cloud picture I got on a "failed" storm chase. I say failed because, going on a chase with a 102 fever, and the storms going 80+mph, people running out of gas ect. just do not mix. 

World Of Wheels 2011, Minneapolis, MN

 This years World Of Wheels was pretty good, I actually saw a couple exotics there, Which has not been the last few times that I have went. As usual. A lot of people. Walking in the way of my pictures because apparently they are too impatient to wait the 2 seconds it takes for me to take a photo. So I only got 30 usable photos this time around. I cant wait to do actual shoots this summer, Then I can really let my work shine. Hope you enjoy them.

Snowy Landscape

We got a total of about 7.5" of snow here in St.Louis park of very powdery snow. Made for a beautiful landscape, Trees covered perfectly. Temp was a bit chilly, But there was little to no winds so it was not too bad to go on a walk with the camera. I hope that you enjoy the photos.

Beautiful Sunset

I only snapped one photo of this sunset, but it is more than enough to get attention of its beauty, The silhouette of the trees and the texture showing up in the clouds from the sun shining below them makes for a great image. I just added some vignetting around the edges to draw your attention to the center of the picture.
