Christmas Snow Storm

This will definitely be a Christmas to remember for many people. As the TC are got between 12-14"+ of snow, Where other places saw mostly rain and mix and hardly got anything at all.
This storm set a daily snowfall record in the TC metro of 5.8" on Christmas eve (the 24th), the old record was about 2" set back in 1916. If there would have been more cold air with this, snowfall could have easily been over 20"
Here are a few shots I got during the storm.
Enjoy!
Happy Holidays!!!

41,300 Christmas lights..

The amount of time and money that went into wrapping this tree is just amazing to say the least. 41,300 lights wrap this tree and every branch.. You can see the glow for miles and miles. Over looking the river bluffs is simply stunning.

1:18 Scale 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo

One of my other hobbies is building model cars, Usually 1:18th scale. Since it is winter time, and not many things to take pictures of, I thought I would showcase some of my work.

One of my favorite cars, a 1985 Monte Carlo SS (also known as the G-body)
In 1985, The Chevrolet Monte carlo was re-introduced with T-tops, Which was previously discontinued after 1982. The SuperSport (SS) also came in aditional colors in this year (Black, maroon and silver in addition to white) Pinstriping, and options were also made available.

Snow Storm!!!

A extremely powerful low pressure system brought a ton of snow to the area and surrounding areas to the south and east. My area picked up between 7-8" of snow, where other places like Eau Claire, WI got a whopping 13", Was definitely a storm to remember
