An awesome sunset

This is a few shots of an awesome sunset at Lake Calhoun Right before a small thunderstorm. The contrast of the bright green on the trees and grass from the sun hitting it, the angle of the sun, and the black sky made for an amazing scene and photos.

5-10-2011 Storm chase

My buddy Alex messaged me on the computer earlier in the day and said he was coming up this way to chase, I thought about it for a fraction of a second and told him to swing by and pick me up. I am glad he did. We ended up seeing a weak short lived EF1 tornado, some large hail, and a few wall clouds. We didn't run out of gas, or run into a guard rail LOL!  I would say, All in All, it was a pretty successful chase, Considering we were on the only tornado that happened in the state that day.
